ICE Robotics offers STEM based learning programs to enlighten students about robotic systems, highlighting their growing significance and several uses today. Our programs are geared towards fostering an interactive learning environment through the use of robot technology. Students are exposed to real world applications of science, technology, engineering and mathematics concepts through an informative and enjoyable learning process. All of our instructors are highly professional in their fields and have developed each curriculum.
Our regular programs include LEGO WEDO (ages 5-8), LEGO Mindstorms EV3 (ages 9-14) and Arduino (age 14+), amongst many others. Utilizing the kits provided by us, students will build their own robot and connect it to a laptop to program its behaviour. We encourage our students to use their creativity and strategic thinking in order to develop their problem-solving skills, which will help them when they tackle real life problems.
After School Program
The After School Program intends to integrate the different subject areas through our comprehensive system of understanding basic STEM concepts. In addition to language, math and science help, students will be given various tasks related to building a robot and programming it to carry out specific actions. Their analytical and technical skills will be nourished by understanding the technology behind the various parts necessary to create the robot, following step-by-step procedures to build the robot from the designs provided, and finally, programming the robot’s behavior.
March Break, Summer Camp & PA Day Camps
Our camps are carefully designed to provide students with a unique experience that will enhance their understanding of STEM concepts. We aim give students the opportunity to not only explore science, technology, engineering and mathematics topics, but also to implement their education beyond the classroom, create real world applications and discover countless career opportunities in related fields.
If you’re looking for a creative way of hosting your child’s birthday party, we offer various birthday party packages where kids will get the chance to explore their creativity using our various robotics kits.
We also offer off campus programs, which refers to all group sessions conducted outside of our main location. Off-campus events include, but are not limited to workshops at schools and community centers and birthday parties. ICE Robotics has been proudly providing service to the communities in City of Toronto in collaboration with the ARC program and thus contributing to the welfare of people. We have also conducted workshops in several public and private schools across the GTA. Teaching robotics in schools and community centers gives students the opportunity to address the growing demand of teaching STEM subjects while learning how science, engineering, math, and technology interact with one another.
