The CCSA offers high-quality art instruction in a warm and welcoming environment for students to learn in. By nurturing the artist in everyone, classes at CCSA help to plant the seeds of lifelong creativity.
Creative camps are a series of art camps that empowers kids’ creativity, like no other in Canada! Campers involve in painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, design, animation, wearable art (fashion), performing arts, textile painting, cartooning, and film-making. We cover creative and technical techniques to have more kids’ engagement. The purpose is developing children’s social, emotional and cognitive skills through creative art activities.
Campers take an imaginary world trip and learn interesting facts about different countries’ art and culture! Target countries are France, Italy, China, India, Mexico, Greece and Egypt. The purpose is to develop campers’ perspective of artworks around the world. These art adventures plus the specific techniques we use in our teaching lead to a better development of the campers’ creativity!
MARCH BREAK CAMP
CCSA is proud to present our unique March Break Art Camp! The theme for this camp is Once Upon A Time In Japan. Each day will be dedicated to exploring the styles and technique of Japanese Art including painting, architecture, filmmaking, sculpting, fashion/wearable arts and animation.
This gives students the chance to try a variety of classes that we have to offer with a unique cultural twist helping them to develop creative and cognitive skills. There will be an exhibition to display the student’s works at the end of the week in the CCSA’s gallery space. The students will also be ‘selling’ you FREE tickets to view their masterpieces at the end of the week!
