With over 40 years’ experience in nurturing the development of dancers, the West Coast’s premier dance academy, Goh Ballet, is now open in Toronto. Under the direction of Chan Hon Goh, former Principal Dancer of the National Ballet of Canada, the academy offers comprehensive training programs for all ages. Taught by Goh Ballet’s fully certified and award-winning instructors, programs are structured with a well-rounded curriculum featuring classical ballet, jazz, contemporary, national dances and more. Students gain access to an innovative variety of choreography and repertoire, as well as more individualized coaching and mentorship. Programs also include seasonal workshops, summer intensives, and children’s weekly dance workshops among others.

March Break Spring Performance Workshop:

Receive vital feedback to advance your competition preparation and take your performance to the next level at Goh Ballet’s new Spring Performance Workshop! An unparalleled opportunity for students ages 10+ to focus on developing artistic interpretation, musicality and charisma. During this 5-day workshop students will polish precision of execution, and improve technique with Goh Ballet’s award-winning faculty. Learn sections of classical variations from Sleeping Beauty, Don Quixote, Swan Lake and La Bayadere alongside working on group repertoire and contemporary coaching. It’s your time to shine!

Junior & Senior International Summer Intensives:

Elevate your dance experience and let your love of ballet soar with Goh Ballet’s Junior Summer Intensive! During this four-week program, students ages 7-13 will gain a deeper understanding of technique as well as dance history and experience learning from renowned guest teachers. Explore repertoire with the stylistic influences of Bournonville, Petipa and Balanchine. Curriculum features classical ballet, contemporary, jazz, national dances, musical theatre and more!

Children’s Summer Dance Workshops:

Nurture your child’s creativity and love for dance with Goh Ballet’s summer workshops designed for blossoming dancers aged 4-7. Themed weekly workshops held for boys and girls incorporating familiar characters, stories, music, as well as arts and crafts sessions to encourage self-expression and inspire the imagination. With five fun and familiar themes to choose from, these summer workshops will develop confidence and kindle imagination.

Creative Dance:

A ten-week program designed to start budding young movers on their exciting dance adventure! Our young dancers will begin to develop spatial awareness, mind and body coordination, balance and fine motor skills as they are lead through an imaginative and energetic creative dance class. Using familiar characters, stories and music they will be gently encouraged to share their creative ideas, build new friendships and show confidence as they discover the magical world of dance!

Junior School:

Comprehensive classical ballet education along with classes in other dance disciplines for students ages 4 and up. Taught by certified and award-winning instructors, our Junior School curriculum follows a progressive structure designed to assist each child in reaching their highest potential. The focus of training in the Junior School is sequential, providing building blocks for children to grow from one year to the next. Our Junior School offers class placement for students of every age and ability, whether focused on after-school dance education or developing the strong skills and technique required to become a professional dancer!
