Richmond Hill Art School offers a wide range of children art classes from SK-Grade 12. Art programs are designed for all skill levels from beginner to portfolio preparation. Our certified teachers keep students engaged and entertained by creating a balance between acquiring art skills, using a variety of mediums and art forms, and learning art history and art theory.

What sets our school apart?
– We take the time to plan regular museum and art gallery trips to further educate and inspire our students.
– Our programs is based on the Ontario academic curriculum and our instructors are professional artists and certified teachers.
– We organize annual Student Exhibitions to showcase our students work, to celebrate their creative excellence and their talent, and to show them how proud we are of their art.

Fine Art Camps and PA days
We offer a creative adventure to nurture children’s mind and soul on PA days, Winter Camp break, March Camp break and Summer Fine Arts Camp weeks. Taught by professional artists, Art Camp gives your child the freedom to express themselves, be creative, develop new ideas, and take risks. Camp is designed for grades SK-6 and suitable for both art students and those not registered in an art program. What a great way to get introduced to the arts or continue building skills and stay creative in a fun studio environment. We offer plenty of organic snacks throughout the day and parents only provide their favourite choice of lunch.

Kids Art Birthday Package
Our Kids Art Birthday Package is the perfect way to have fun with friends and family and be creative. We will organize your child’s special day with fun art activities while you can sit back and relax in a separate party room for adults. We supply all art materials needed to create their masterpieces. You are welcome to bring your cake and refreshments into our wet bar area at no surcharge fee. (Liquor permit can be arranged upon request)

Portfolio Preparation
Our Portfolio Preparation sessions are made to develop and organize the portfolio of students applying to various Canadian and US colleges/universities as well as local art program high schools. We analyze and create a personalized program based on each student’s needs.

We regularly conduct workshops on specific techniques, mediums, and style. Students registered for yearly classes can advance their skills in particular areas with these special workshops. Workshops are also perfect for those who cannot allocate the time for weekly classes and yet, want to learn and advance their art skills with short courses.

We offer weekly adult / senior classes as well as drop in workshops, girls night out social painting parties, bridal shower parties, team building activities for companies, and rent out venue for special celebrations and corporate workshops and events.
