Rooks to Cooks is a multidimensional cooking school that offers a wide variety of cooking programs for individuals of all ages and levels. We began with in-home private lessons and have now expanded to include cooking camps, in-school workshops and after school programs. We recognize that learning new skills, especially cooking, can be intimidating; that's why we build our programs to be fun, inviting, as well as intensive

Our programs and services always emphasize themes of healthy eating, and teach our students how to live a fulfilling healthy life. No matter your age or skill level, Rooks to Cooks has a class for you.

AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAMS AND WORKSHOPS

Rooks to Cooks now offers School Workshops and After School Cooking Programs! Bring the kitchen to your child's classroom, with one of these innovative and hands-on school programs. Workshops are designed for students from JK to grade 12. The students will gain valuable experience cooking homemade, delicious and nutritious meals! Chef instructors engage children with fun, team-based cooking lessons that are jam-packed with recipes and samples to take home to share with family.

BIRTHDAYS & PARTIES

Let Rooks to Cooks bring the party to you! Book a unique & exciting birthday party! Experienced staff will help you plan a delicious cooking party for your chef-to-be and make their special day extra special!

Aspiring young chefs will have a fantastic time preparing, eating and sharing a scrumptious dish that they created at your party.

2+ Chef instructors will arrive at the space of your choice 1 hour prior to your party to set up. Chefs will bring all the necessary ingredients, equipment, uniforms and loot bag materials. Parties range in length from 1.5 hours to 2 hours. More details available on the company website.

SUMMER CAMPS

Hungry for fun? Check out the Summer Cooking Day Camps for kids ages 6 and up, offered at 12 GTA locations. These are definitely the most unique and intensive cooking programs out there. With a variety of weekly themes and activities, children are sure to cook up some fun in the kitchen.

The classes are always hands-on, educational, team-based and fun! Campers will make up to 5 recipes per day (depending on their age group). Children participating in the Rooks to Cooks’ cooking programs will learn a wide range of cooking skills, methods, and techniques from professional chefs that they will use for years to come. There are 9 summer sessions to choose from running July through to September. Be sure to register soon to secure your spot, only 20 students per camp (1:5 staff to camper ratio).

We are also extremely safety conscious and allergy aware, so please be sure to let us know if your child has any allergies.
