Experience Online Hands-On Fun With Mad Science Virtual Programs

This Fall, Mad Science is continuing to provide resources to make children’s time at home engaging, educational, and most importantly ― fun. A wide range of educational STEAM programs are being offered virtually. These include interactive virtual after-school programs, weekend camps, birthday parties, art programs and workshops. Although virtual, all programs are hands-on programs making learning science cool for little explorers.

Not only do programs provide an awesome experience, but they are self-guided by students which offers parents a much needed break from the rigorous requirements of managing their child's learning and life at home. And, even if your kids are back at school, you can supplement their education in a fun way to reinforce core science concepts and enhance your child's science curriculum. It's the perfect break between school and homework!

The following programs will be offered this Fall and Winter:

Virtual After-School Programs
After-school programs ensure that kids have access to fun and educational STEAM programs while at home. These curriculum-correlated, hands-on preschool and elementary-level workshops for kids will complement concepts taught in class. It's like taking a field trip without ever leaving the classroom.

Virtual Weekend Camps
Live presenters will engage your children with fun, interactive and hands-on experiments. Step-by-step guided activities and cool demonstrations turn screen time into a fun and meaningful experience that is sure to capture your child's attention. All supplies provided are safe, fun and designed to create a memorable weekend camp experience!

Virtual and Online Workshops
Virtual and online workshops are as fun as they are educational. These science programs cover different topics for ages 4-12. They are a perfect way to engage your children with hands-on activities. You will receive a supply list before each workshop with easy to find items from your home. With professional lesson plans and animated instructors, Mad Science workshops are an ideal way to reinforce science concepts. All of their dynamic programs meet and go beyond provincial standard requirements.

Crayola® Imagine Arts Academy™
The creators of Mad Science are also launching a new program: Crayola® Imagine Arts Academy™. This unique virtual after-school art programs teach kids foundational art concepts and techniques, but with a twist. It will broaden their understanding of the world and sharpen their critical-thinking skills by focusing on art as a problem-solving tool, as a career path, as a way to understand different places and cultures, and more. Step-by-step guided projects turn screen time into a fun and meaningful experience.
