Experience The Fun Of The CNE At Home!

The CNE tradition continues! While you may not be able to visit the 2020 CNE this summer, since the event was cancelled due to COVID-19, that doesn't mean you can't check out some of your favourite fair features online.

This year, the CNE will be offering many virtual programs for families to enjoy. Relive past shows or check out new exclusive online performances from some of your favourite CNE skaters, musical acts and park performers. Other offerings include: an online gaming experience, puzzles and games, virtual tours, cooking demonstrations, daily contests and more. Complete programming will be announced on the CNE website in the coming weeks.

In the meantime...

Get Colouring!
Kids can get creative and colour in the parts of the CNE they are most excited about seeing again in 2021. Click here to download CNE Colouring pages. The CNE is asking to see your colourful creations so snap a photo of your masterpiece and send it to facebook@theex.com for your chance to have your artwork featured on the CNE website.

CNE Puzzles
If your kids are looking for a fun, fair-themed challenge they can do from home, check out virtual jigsaw puzzles online. Click here to put your skills to the test by putting CNE images back together.

CNE Gaming Garage Powered by AMD
The CNE is bringing back all the fun and excitement of the Gaming Garage virtually! The FREE online program features a three-day tournament for three popular esports titles: Fortnite (PC), Valorant (PC) and Rocket League. Starting on August 17th, registered gamers can participate in qualification matches to earn their place in the CNE Gaming Garage broadcast weekend. The tournaments will feature Fortnite Solos, Valorant 5v5, and Rocket League Duos - and qualified gamers will have a chance to compete for a shared $4,000 prize pool. Register here (it's free!)

In addition to the three-day esports tournaments, the CNE Gaming Garage Powered by AMD will feature Fortnite Island Freeplay (with prizing courtesy of AMD), an Online Dungeon & Dragons competitive adventure in Wildemount, a free Virtual Robotics Competition, and an online Magic: The Gathering "learn-to-play" tutorial, courtesy of FacetoFaceGames.com - Canada's largest trading card game retailer. Stay tuned for more details.

CNE Zoom Backgrounds
Tired of the same backgrounds you've been using for the past few months? Now you can place yourself at the CNE from the comfort of your own home with virtual backgrounds. Kids can chat with friends from the middle of the CNE midway or take a trip back in time to a CNE scene from the past. Click here to view the gallery of free CNE Zoom Backgrounds.

It's won't be the same experience this year, but stay connected to the EX ... virtually! We're looking forward to the cooking demos and food! :)
