Sears Great Canadian Chill

The Sears Great Canadian Chill is an urban polar bear dip located in the heart of the city on February 17th, 2014. Teams and individuals will jump into a custom built chill pool at Yonge-Dundas Square to raise money for the Sears Canada Charitable Foundation. It gives Chillers an opportunity to display courage and bravery, test willpower and show off their spontanous spirit. In addition to the "dip," there will be family-fun activities, live entertainment, prizes for top fundraisers, and a costume contest. Chillers will have access to heated tents and hot tubs on-site for staying warm before and afterwards. All funds raised from The Sears Great Canadian Chill will be donated to The Sears Canada Charitable Foundation, which supports the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, as well as, national pediatric oncology initiatives, such as the Sears Childhood Cancer Fellowship. Admission is free ($25 to register for the Chill).
