Star Wars Launch Bay at Disney Resorts

Disneyland Resort in California and Walt Disney World Resort in Florida have both launched a new interactive experience to take fans into Star Wars: The Force Awakens, as well as the first six films in the Star Wars saga. The Star Wars Launch Bay attraction which recently opened in December invites guests to play video games, tour galleries, see film documentaries while providing plenty of fun photo opportunities.

Fans can explore immersive special exhibits and get and up-close look at replica props, models, costumes and artifacts from the Star Wars films, and watch a behind-the-scenes video about how a new generation of filmmakers is crafting the future of the saga. Encounter Han Solo’s trusty sidekick, Chewbacca, for a furry photo opp and if you’re brave enough, take a picture with the menacing Dark Lord himself, Darth Vader.

You can also join the Star Wars action by playing the latest version of the popular Disney Infinity video game — Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition, which features an exclusive Toy Box built just for Star Wars Launch Bay.

The fun continues at Disney World Resort's Hollywood Studios with many more new exciting Star Wars attractions such as a 3D, motion-simulated space flight. At Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple, younglings can train in the ways of the Force and put their skills to the test to defeat the Dark Side while Symphony in the Stars: A Galactic Spectacular ends your day in a galaxy far, far away with a nightly fireworks finale bursting with Star Wars music and magic.
