This Summer, sign your kids up for BugQuest Summer Day Camp 2015. They’ll spend a week as an entomologist and discover the world of bugs! Or, host a Birthday Party! Packages include private use of the party room for a two hour time-frame, and a one-hour program led by a nature interpreter that includes a live insect encounter, feeding the turtles and the fish, and a guided tour through the tropical butterfly conservatory and two exhibit galleries. Lunch is served in the party room with pizza lunch or hot dog lunch options.

Throughout the year, the Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory hosts many special events. Here's what's coming in the next few months...

Hug-a-Bug
This coming Family Day Weekend, come Hug-a-Bug! Discover a wild and exotic insect petting zoo at this annual Hug-a-Bug event! Meet exciting bugs up close like giant long legged Katydids and Malaysian Jungle Nymphs. Dates: February 14, 15, and 16.

StoryTime
On weekdays, toddlers can explore their very favourite bug and butterfly books during Words and Wings StoryTime. During this 20-30 minute program, there’s also a creature feature where participants get to meet an exciting live insect and have an up close and personal encounter.

Little Bug Troopers Preschool Program
This Spring, toddlers can sign up for a bug-themed preschool program every Thursday morning. Each week, the program includes circle time with bug songs and fingerplays, theme-related snack and craft as well as time in the tropical Butterfly Conservatory. Different bug-related theme each week. Parent attends with child. Pre-registration is required. The program is suitable for children 3-5 years old. Dates: Thursdays from March 26 to April 30 (6 weeks). Hours: 9:30 am to 11:00 am. Cost: $70 + HST for parent and child for 6 week program.
