Barrie Winterfest
February 2 and 3, 2019
Named one of the Top 100 Festivals in Ontario, Winterfest is a great way to celebrate the Winter season with adventures that the whole family will enjoy. Activities include Lumberjack Shows, Maple Taffy, Snow Sculptures, Cross Country Ski, Snowshoe, Battle of the Chainsaws, Pancake Breakfast and much more. The February Blues Festival features great music in venues throughout Barrie and neighbouring communities. Free admission. More

Richmond Hill Winter Carnival
February 2 to 3, 2019
The Richmond Hill Winter Carnival is a weekend of affordable fun and entertainment organized by volunteers to celebrate the community of Richmond Hill in a welcoming atmosphere. There are many things going on for kids and families that are scheduled, and many that are not scheduled (like bouncy castles, kids games and rides, lots of food, entertainment and more). Hollywood Heads North for the 14th Annual Bloor-Yorkville Icefest
February  9, 2019 to February 10, 2019
Celebrate winter with the 14th annual Bloor- Yorkville Icefest on Saturday, February 9th and Sunday, February 10th in the Village of Yorkville Park and surrounding area. A free public event, patrons can expect a wide variety of uniquely designed ice sculptures and live ice carving demonstrations throughout the weekend. Free. More

WNED-TV Kid Fest at Royal Botanical Gardens

Toronto’s urban cabane à sucre experience returns to the waterfront for a sweet weekend of winter fun and plenty of fresh maple syrup. Tap into your inner Canadian this March break at the fourth annual Sugar Shack TO, presented by Redpath. From March 9-10, Sherbourne Common will be transformed into a maple wonderland that will include; two sugar shacks, ice activities and games, delicious maple-infused food, skating (weather permitting), specialty bar, battle of the chainsaws, a warming station and much more.
