Russian School of Mathematics Announces New Branch in Toronto Area

Russian School of Mathematics (RSM), the award-winning after-school math program for SK-12 students, has announced the opening of its first branch in Canada. The Midtown Toronto area location will be based at 1585 Yonge St. and serve the nearby areas of York, East York, Midtown and downtown Toronto.

RSM, which opened in 1997 and now serves over 30,000 students across 45 branches in the United States has been named one of the "top ten schools in the world," by the Johns Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth, and a leader in the "Math Revolution" by the Atlantic magazine. Inga Anisova (PhD), who has spent her career in the sciences and education will be the principal of this location.

RSM's curriculum and approach is inspired by elite mathematical schools in the Former Soviet Union and Europe, adapted for the North American environment. RSM's program is designed to help children of all levels build a solid math foundation and develop their critical-thinking and problem-solving skills. Thousands of their students have earned top marks on international competitions and gone on to earn acceptance to some of the best universities in the world.

Russian School of Mathematics is currently accepting applications for the Summer as well as for 2018-2019 academic year.
