Over the Canada Day Long Weekend, the Tall Ships have docked along Queen's Quay during the Redpath Waterfront Festival as part of the Tall Ships Challenge® Great Lakes Series. This race series organized by Tall Ships America has the ships travelling through the Great Lakes and stopping in US and Canadian cities throughout the summer of 2019.

In addition, to boarding the ships (ticketed event), visitors can enjoy many free on-shore activities... Visit the Maritime Market, watch an oyster shucking competition, see if you have what it takes to be a crew member with a skill testing obstacle course, and enjoy live entertainment.
