Free Flicks at Harbourfront
June 21 to July 16, 2017
Join us on the waterfront for a celebration of Canadian talent hiding in plain sight on the movie screen. Even when they’re pretending to be south of the 49th parallel, there’s maple syrup underneath their fingernails and hockey in their hearts. Join us in your local neighbourhood for free Movies Under the Stars. Bring your own chair and blanket for an outdoor movie in your community park. Movies begin at 9pm every Thursday from July 6th until August 17th.

July 12 to August 16, 2017
Under the Stars: Movies in the Park event, takes place every Wednesday from July 12 to August 16! Before sundown, join us for music and activities such as face painting, scavenger hunts, basket-ball games, reading circles, chess games and more. Activities will vary each week and take place between 7 - 8:30 PM before the film begins at sundown. All activities and movies are free!

Richmond Hill's Moonlight Movies series is an outdoor cinema experience during the summer months. It's free and all you need to bring is a blanket or lawn chair. Movies start when the sun goes down. Pre-movie fun starts at 7 p.m.

Toronto Port Authority Presents Sail-In Cinema
August 17 to August 19, 2017
PortsToronto presents Sail-In Cinema™, the world’s first two-sided floating movie experience of its kind. In August, Canada’s Sugar Beach will transform into Toronto’s largest outdoor movie theatre over three nights. Movies will be shown under the open skies on a two-sided screen set atop a barge in Toronto Harbour. You can watch movies for free from Sugar Beach or Lake Ontario, and this year there are no tickets required to attend.
