Terra Lumina - A Multimedia Experience Like No Other!

Terra Lumina at the Toronto Zoo is a multimedia experience unlike any other. After the animals have gone to sleep, the Zoo transforms into something incredible, inviting visitors to become the seeds of change for the future of our planet. The 1.5 kilometre walk starts at nightfall, complete with storytelling, a light show, music, and special effects.

The adventure begins as we stepped into a portal of light, transporting us to the year 2099 –– a time in the world where humans have learned to live in harmony with nature. Terra Lumina, the 11th installation created by Moment Factory, provides about an hour of adventure through areas like the Luminous Forest, Wolves Welcome, Polar Power, Vanished Species, Circle of Life, Words of Wisdom, and more.

Kids and families will be thrilled as they make their way through the light portal, and come upon mesmerizing lighting effects and enchanting sounds. There are interactive drums to play together, to unleash the full power and beauty of lights, and dazzling encounters with virtual wolves, polar bears and a buffalo, along the way. It's impossible not to be inspired by the messages of hope for our planet. The passage back to present through a tunnel of shimmering lights completes the journey. When you return, you are filled with the secrets of tomorrow and a vision of a world where hope and positivity abound.

Don't miss out on the emotionally charged multimedia event of the Winter! Terra Lumina takes place on twilight evenings, but only until April 13, 2020. 3 to 5 time slots are available from Thursdays to Sundays, with daily slots available during the week of March Break (March 16 to 20). Tickets range from $25-$30 and can be booked online at www.torontozoo.com/terralumina
