Summer Camps at Children’s Arts Theatre School
Children's Arts Theatre School is Toronto's leader in professional theatre training for young people of all ages. Summer camps run for two-weeks, at four locations in the Toronto area. There are full day or half-day sessions that provide a stimulating social and creative curriculum for Summer students. The Junior Summer Camp (ages 3-5) focuses on visual arts, storytelling, puppetry, pantomime, improvisation, and creative movement, with a performance at the end of camp week. The Intermediate Summer Camp (ages 6-9) focuses on improvisation, visual arts, role-playing, mask, mime, dance, voice, comedy, and physical theatre. The Advanced Summer Camp (ages 10-13) focuses on visual arts and advanced theatre skills, including improvisation, voice, dance, comedy, scriptwriting, and performance. The Director will assist the students in writing and developing their ideas in dramatic form.
