Victoria Day weekend is May 16 to 18! Even though there's still over a month of school and Spring still ahead, Summer has unofficially begun. Lots of big attractions are now open for the season and while you have the entire Summer to enjoy all of those attractions, here are some of the great things taking place just this Victoria Day long weekend. World Fiddle Day at Fort York
May 16, 2015 - 10:00 am until 6:00 pm
Fiddles at the Fort! Fort York welcomes World Fiddle Day for a day-long celebration of bows on strings. Join us as players of bowed string instruments from several traditions teach and perform leading up to our community "Around-the-World Jam" where violin, viola, cello, and bass players of all levels play their way through 40 tunes from 25 countries. Admission is free.

Bell Free Weekend at TIFF Bell Lightbox
May 16, 2015 to May 17, 2015 - 10:00 am until 6:00 pm
On Saturday, May 16 and Sunday, May 17, all regular film screenings from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., plus special family films and events from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. are completely free at TIFF Bell Lightbox, courtesy of Bell. Screenings include selections from the 2015 TIFF Kids International Film Festival, feature films Maya the Bee and A Little Game, and shorts programmes Give and Get and Imagination Inspiration.
