These science camp and STEM camp programs will have your kids doing everything from designing video games and building robots, to learning about animation, coding, Minecraft, chemistry and more! Kids will have the summer of a lifetime learning and playing.


AFTERFOUR offers technology camps and workshops specializing in LEGO® Mindstorms™, Stop-Motion Movies and Video Game Design. Students in grades 1 through 7 get the chance to author their own day camp experience. Students complete applied-technology adventures that are customized to their skill level. Activities occur both on and off the computer with a focus on engineering and robotics, video game creation, animation, and graphic design. Camps are offered in East York. More info

Creative Club Camp

If your kids love LEGO or Robotics, spending time at Creative Club Camp is the most fun your child will have all summer! Programs include: LEGO Build and Design (ages 4 - 12), Junior Robotics with WeDo 2.0 (6 - 8), Senior Robotics (9 - 13), and Advanced Robotics (9 - 13). Outdoor Activities include new Ever Blocks Team Colour War (giant modular bricks that look like LEGO). Early/Aftercare is available. Camps are offered in North York, Richmond Hill, and Ajax. Busing is available via neighbourhood bus stops and door-to-door service. Registration includes a LEGO gift and T-shirt for each camper. Fast Motion Studios

Fast Motion Studios offers several exciting and different educational workshops in Action Design, Wire Work, Motion Capture, Visual Effects,  Virtual Reality and Oculus Rift. Kids will learn how to perform stunts and action scenes practically and safely just like the movies! Become a 3D character, learn how to use a green screen, and wander around in fantasy lands! Each session runs from 9am to 3pm daily. Optional early drop-off and late pickup is available. Inquire about cost. Limited space available. Hatch Canada Coding and Maker Camp

At Hatch Canada Coding and Maker Summer Camp, kids learn to program and make awesome things every day! Kids will build skills in making AND programming by choosing their own projects to build every day under the guidance of our trained (and very fun) coaches.  After experimenting with new code and maker projects in the first three days, kids then get to create a Showcase project - a 100% self-directed project which ties together all their new skills! Mad Science Summer Camps offer amazing, daily take-home activities like rockets, birdhouses, space shuttles, chess sets, telescopes, and more! Ontario Science Centre Camps

Keep young minds happy and active this summer with a week of interactive discovery at the Ontario Science Centre’s Summer Day Camps. Kids will make new friends, take part in exciting experiments and embark on unforgettable science adventures! Programs include: Fun-ologists (5-12 year olds), Chemistry Matters (5-12 year olds), and Science Centre Innovators (13-14 year olds). New for 2016 is a half-day camp for younger children: Little Scientists, Big Ideas (4-5 year olds). More info


STEAMLabs summer camps empower kids to follow their interests and discover new skills in robotics, in a Robot Circus Camp, woodworking and electronics in a Big Build Camp, and programming in Video Game Making and Minecraft Camps. There's even a Camp for Girls to encourage creativity and technical skill development in a positive and supportive environment. At Powered by Girls Camp, participants will brainstorm and design their very own super hero character. The STEAM Project Summer Camp

The STEAM Project Summer Camp supports and foster imagination and creativity by providing youth with hands-on experiences and skill development using various materials and new and emerging technologies. Their first principle is "Design with Purpose" which fosters empathy by focusing on solving problems aimed at benefiting and improving the lives of others. As kids make ideas come to life, they will learn about the science and technology of making things move as they build, code and test their creations, solve design problems and much more. At STEM Camp, the focus is on engaging campers in fun science, technology, engineering & mathematics (STEM) activities that are designed to foster an interest in these subject areas. Studies show that children who are exposed to STEM at early ages have a better chance at embracing these subjects as they move through the education levels and enter the Canadian workforce. Thorious Robotics Summer Camp

Making robots is cool and playing with them is even cooler. At Thorious Summer Camp, students become robot inventors and Minecraft programmers. The best part is that they'll learn essential tech skills while having a blast! Whether it's coding robots for battle or learning about flight with drones, students get the best learning because the program is project based. Kids will also get outside daily to explore local parks such as Riverdale Farm and Allen Gardens, to enjoy the sun and green space. Camp is offered in Toronto, in the heart of Cabbagetown. More info
