Illuminite at Yonge Dundas Square

Expect the unexpected! Downtown Yonge Business Improvement Area promises another spectacular tree-lighting ceremony at Yonge-Dundas Square. Audience will witness no ordinary holiday lighting ceremony. Using different spaces in and around Yonge-Dundas Square, performers will appear from every corner and will leave the audience in awe. Be prepared to be surprised at every turn. Take the whole family and experience this one-of-a kind show that culminates with fireworks and the lighting of 52,000 LED lights. Free.

Santa Train Rides

We have received news from the North Pole that Santa will be riding our trains departing from the Uxbridge station only on Saturdays and Sundays beginning on November 16th. Each trip lasts approximately 1 hour and has on-board entertainment for children of all ages (including the adults!). Santa will be visiting each child at their seat and distributing goodies to each.

Eglinton Square Celebrates Santa's Arrival

Join us Friday, November 21, 2014 for Santa Claus' arrival at Eglinton Square Shopping Centre. To celebrate his arrival, Eglinton Square is hosting a Holiday Carnival, complete with face painters, balloon artists, temporary tattoo artists, a magic show, and of course, Santa Clause himself. The celebration starts at 4:00 pm with a magic show in the Eglinton Square branch of the Toronto Public Library and Santa Claus will parade through the mall at 6:30 pm. Featuring the illumination of Toronto’s official Christmas tree, performances by some of Canada’s top musical talent, a brilliant fireworks show and a skating party at Nathan Phillips Square, the festive event is a holiday tradition in Toronto. The Nathan Phillips Square ice rink will be open for skating (weather permitting) during Cavalcade of Lights and skate rentals are available on site. Free.
