Our Winter Camp offers a four-day workshop with creative exploration for our little writers, readers, and book-loving artists. We will learn about story and character development to layout and illustration so that you can wrap up a week of adventure with a hands-on bookmaking lesson so you can create your own book! Besides the bookmaking, our campers will also have a chance to explore different media and create their master art pieces each day. Our Canadian winter is great inspiration for artists! Located minutes east of Toronto, North of Pickering and Ajax, Dagmar Resort is located in the beautiful Oak Ridge’s Moraine. As the Number 1 Family Resort, Dagmar provides a fun and friendly skiing experience for the whole family. Sign up for Winter camp. It's a great way to kick off the season. 3 or 4 day camps with a 2 hour lesson each day. 

The Hub Climbing

Dates: December 27 to 30 and January 3 to 6 
With 18,000 square feet, Hub Climbing is the largest climbing gym in Ontario and the largest bouldering gym in Canada. Campers will experience rock climbing, bouldering, yoga and a bunch of team building games. Climbing periods will consist of top rope and bouldering as well as access to the Hub's Dragon. The campers will work on progressing their climbing while having fun and using proper technique. Older campers will focus on technique and different problems. Younger, less experienced campers will focus more on having fun and being safe while climbing. Supervision at a 1:5 ratio. Campers will spend anywhere from 2-3 hours climbing in the day. Ages 6-12. No experience required.

Gymalaya with locations in Vaughan and Newmarket, is York Region's newest gymnastics club. Gymalaya offers Winter Break Camp during the school holiday break. Camp is designed for children ages 4-10 and runs from 9:00-3:00. Extended care until 4:00 is available.
