Inside The Dr. Seuss Experience

Step into the colourful, fun world of Dr Seuss!

Fans of Dr. Seuss are being immersed into the imaginative and interactive wondrous world of Dr. Seuss in a new exhibition. Billed as a "Seuss-tacular sensory spectacle," families won't want to miss "The Dr. Seuss Experience," where readers of all ages can step inside the colourful and whimsical worlds that exist inside Dr. Seuss' beloved stories.

The 15,000-square-foot exhibition with nine rooms, or "worlds," to explore, are themed to the stories and characters you know and love, from “The Cat in the Hat” to “Horton Hears a Who!” Each room offers a different Dr. Seuss book that comes to life and explores the social message at the heart of each story. Guests can swing among Truffula Trees from "The Lorax" or wander through the "Cat in the Hat" room, where an animatronic, talking Cat in the Hat will answer all of your questions. A special themed carousel in "Circus McGurkus", allows you to take a ride on an actual indoor carousel while a room full of Sneetches is mirrored to create an infinity effect. Stop by "There's a Wocket in My Pocket!" room and take a selfie with the Bofa on the Sofa before you leave. The attraction’s centerpiece is an inter-connected maze inspired by “Oh the Places You’ll Go!,” made up of thousands of suspended balloons.

The exhibition hopes to delight audiences of all ages, from wide-eyed kids to photo-snapping Instagrammers. There's also an opportunity to meet and interact with some of the characters from favourite books. On the day of our visit, the Cat in the Hat was on hand to greet visitors. At the end of the tour, shop for Seuss-centric merchandise and books. An art gallery in the lobby also offers artwork for sale.

After making its debut in Toronto, "The Dr. Seuss Experience" will travel to multiple cities across the United States. As the much-anticipated event travels to different cities, the exhibit will change, allowing visitors to enjoy new additions based on a rotating selecting of Dr. Seuss' popular books. The current exhibition in Toronto features a seasonal room where the Grinch is ready to steal Christmas.

This stunning new exhibit is a must-see for fans to get their fantastical fix of Dr. Seuss and to celebrate the imagination and creativity of the celebrated author and illustrator.

So, get the family ready for an outing unlike any other! The exhibition remains in Toronto until January 5, 2020. Find out more at
