Replete with Kudelka's signature dynamic and exuberant choreography and gliding with wonderful ease from whimsical and often boisterous comedy to breathtaking spectacle and touching emotion, the ballet is a feast for both the senses and the imagination. Celebrate the magic of the holiday season with the Nutcracker ballet! Presented by Pia Bouman School for Ballet and Creative Movement, a not-for-profit dance school in Parkdale, it brings together nearly 100 dancers ages seven to 18 along with a community of volunteers and local dignitaries to share this holiday favourite. It is an annual tradition for many families in and beyond the Toronto area, that brings Parkdale and its surrounding communities together for an evening of dance and holiday cheer.
