If your child is chasing rockstar dreams, is musically inclined or just wants to learn something new, sign ‘em up for music classes this Fall at Rockstar Music Central. Kids of all ages and skills can learn how to read and write music, and how to play all kinds of instruments. Band courses let them discover the magic of making music with others, or form their own pop or rock band. If it's composition and songwriting skills that they're looking for, there's a class for that too, where they’ll learn music theory, song form and how to record and mix tunes. For kids who prefer one-on-one instruction, private in-home lessons tailored to your child’s speed are available throughout the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area. And new this Fall, are virtual online programs, for those wanting to learn from home.

Music lessons can help kids in so many ways. It shapes their intelligence, character, attitudes and ways of seeing and thinking. It can develop manual dexterity, fine muscle control, hand-eye coordination, posture, memorization, listening skills, concentration, and self-discipline. Taking classes with peers will promote social skills, self expression, confidence, self esteem and creativity. Music also has a direct effect on the development of the brain’s neural circuitry, which can improve spatial, temporal, and abstract reasoning skills, all of which apply to math, science and chess.

About the Program
The program is designed to encourage the joy of making music within students, while helping them to develop the discipline and commitment required for success. Rockstar students of all ages and skill levels attend community-based "Jams" in conjunction with In-home/Online Private Lessons. This combination enables our students to have a solid musical foundation and helps them develop into well-rounded musicians.

Choose your instrument, find a teacher that’s right for you and if you are new to Rockstar Music, you can sign up for a free trial class. Rockstar also offers a sibling discount. Register your kids together, and receive a discount of 10% off the fees for the second child enrolled.
