Fall weather brings Harvest Festival, Fall Fair to Black Creek Pioneer Village




From the cascading colours of autumn leaves to the abundance of fun fall activities, it's a great time to visit Black Creek Pioneer Village. The historic village will be hosting a number of family-friendly events where guests can explore the Village taking in all the beautiful fall sights while enjoying harvest themed events.

You'll find lots of activities for kids where they can learn what the fall season meant for the residents of an 1860s Toronto village, while taking part in festive play. A kids' not-too scary Halloween event rounds up the month, while extra spooky experiences after dark will entertain the grownups. Spend the Fall at Black Creek – there is something for everyone!

Harvest Festival

Taking place on September 21, 2019 from 10:00 – 4:30, the Harvest Festival features family-friendly harvest-themed activities and delicious traditional Mennonite and Pennsylvania-German food.

Fall Fair

The Fall Festival takes place on September 22, 2019, from 11:00 – 4:30 and offers and opportunity to celebrate the harvest season with old-fashioned fun including a pie-eating contest, carnival games, a spelling bee, live entertainment, potato relay races, harvest themed games and more.

Howling Hootenanny

Howling Hootenanny takes place on October 19-20 and 26-27, 2019 from 11:00 – 4:30. Get ready for some spook-tacular fun at the village, with amazing shows, a Haunted Maze, trick-or-treating, great games and more.
