History comes to life at Montgomery's Inn! Montgomery's Inn has been a landmark in Etobicoke for over 180 years. Now surrounded by a rapidly expanding metropolis, it continues to provide visual evidence of early 19th-century life in this region. Today, the museum has been restored to its heyday of 1847 and extends the tradition of hospitality that the Montgomerys started in the 1830s. Visitors explore the pivotal role of the tavern in colonial Canada.
