The unique facility hosts over 250 species of reptiles, amphibians, and arachnids from all around the world, representing animals that cannot be found in other Canadian Zoos. Reptilia also focuses on education, conservation, and fun. Here's what's currently being offered.

COVID-19 Safety Measures

Masks are required for all visitors. Online tickets for admission and programs must be reserved in advance and booked online. Reptilia will be reducing the capacity of visitors by limiting ticket sales and monitoring the number of guests in the building. Floor graphics have been placed throughout the zoo to guide guests on their tour and help maintain physical distancing by keeping all groups 14ft (over 4 metres) apart. Contactless payments are preferred at this time.

Starting February 16, 2021, hours at the Whitby location are as follows:

Monday to Thursday: 11am – 5pm

Friday to Sunday: 10 am – 6 pm

The zoo is located at 1400 Victoria Street East, in Whitby. For more information, visit reptilia.org or call at 905-493-9537. Book your visit or programs at this link.

Reptilia Zoo has another location in Vaughan, which is scheduled to reopen on February 22, subject to provincial and York Region COVID policies.
